Happy 10 Month Birthday Livy!!!

Livy turned 10 months old on November 9, 2010. She is getting to be such a big girl.  In just a few months, we won't get to call her an infant anymore...she will be a toddler.  That comes with mixed emotions...I love that she is growing up, doing more things, and trying to communicate more...but, I don't want my little baby to get bigger!!!

Well...during the last month, here are some things that have happened:
 * Livy loves to stand up using whatever she can to get there.  She thinks it is really fun to let go now and stand without holding on.  She hasn't attempted to step yet, but her balance is getting really good!!! 
* She still LOVES food!!!  She got banned from the refrigerator for breaking the bottom shelf piece off of the door...silly girl!!!
*  She got tooth #6, 7, and 8 this month!!
*  She has been really sick this month...got a nasty cold and cough that we just couldn't/can't get rid of .  She continues to runny nose and cough into her 10th month of life :(
* She still loves the walker...and it is really fun to use outside!!!
*  We continue to use the toothbrush.  With 8 teeth now, we have to make sure they stay clean and healthy!!
*  She is still doing really well on her naps...will usually nap at least an hour to two hours in the morning, and 30 mins to 1 hour in the afternoon.
*  Her personality is really coming out these days...especially with the kids I keep.  She is still VERY anxious at first seeing new people.  Even people she knows have to give her a few minutes to warm up if they really want to see her great personality.  If you get in her face too fast, she will pull back and cry for most of the time!!
*  She is still mommy's girl but loves to play with daddy!!
*  She loves the dishwasher still!!  She even helped me put a plastic plate in it the other day!!
*  She loves Mac again!!  Climbing on his bed is one of her favorite things to do now!!
*  Bathtime (and mealtime) may be one of her favorite times of day!!  She loves to play and splash EVERYTHING with a washcloth!!

*  She likes to make mommy go crazy by taking her socks off constantly!!
*  She bit daddy for the first time on his should...he was not happy and neither was she.  She gave daddy a nice scar!!
*  She is a ton more food these days and is almost giving up the bottles herself.  She probably eats less than 20 ounces of formula a day now.
*  She got her first flu shot this month.

*  She missed her first Halloween bc she was sick :(  But the Great Pumpkin came to visit her anyway and filled her embroidered Halloween pumpkin from Oma with a pair of polka dot tights, bunny hat, and mittens!!!  She was the cutest ladybug ever though!! (She had to wear the costume for pictures of course!!)
*  She loves sliding anything she can across the kitchen floor!!


She is absolutely perfect!!!  We are so blessed to have her in our lives!!  Happy Birthday baby girl!!
