Happy 8 Month Birthday Caroline!!!

Oh my...8 months!!!  I have loved all 8 months so much!!!  You remind me so much of Olivia, but you also have your own personality!!  You are such a super happy little girl that goes with the flow!!  We are so lucky to have you!!  This month, you had a lot of accomplishments!!  You drank from a sippy cup for the first time...and did it so easily!!  You started picking up your own food, mostly puffs, and feeding yourself!!  We had to move your crib down a bit since you are moving so much.  You are scooting all over the floor and are super fast these days!!  Sometimes I walk out of the room and then can't see you when I return bc you have moved somewhere else!!  You even went from laying down to sitting up.  I didn't get to see you do it the first time...just found you sitting up in the living room!!  You LOVE to take off your socks and think it is so funny to do it right after mommy has just put them on you!!  You are eating a ton!!  This month you had blueberries, mangoes, chicken, cheese, Ritz crackers, orzo, Cheerios, spaghetti, strawberry/banana yogurt, ham, black beans, peas, grilled cheese, and ice cream.  You also decided you don't want to eat with a spoon, only with your hands.  So, I just throw the food on your plate and you get it in your mouth, on your face, in your nose, on your ears, and all over your clothes (even with a bib on)...but it is super cute!!!  You went to the nursery at church for the first time today, and they only had to call mommy once to come check on you.  Luckily, you calmed down and didn't need me after I got there!!  You are starting to get more teeth too, but I LOVE your sweet smile with your two bottom teeth showing...so precious!!!

You are an amazing little girl with such a bright and spunky personality already!!!  We are so in love with you and can't wait to see how you continue to grow!!


4/11 - Drinking from a sippy cup for the 1st time!!
4/13 - Picking up puffs and putting them in her mouth!!
4/14 - Said Mama for the first time!!
4/21 - Moved her crib down a notch.  She also started moving puffs from one hand to the other hand and using thumb/index fingers more.  And...she spent her first morning in the church nursery!!
4/25ish - Started scooting all over super fast
5/2 - Starting to see the white part of the top left tooth.  Also went from laying down to sitting up!!
5/8 - Said Dada for the first time!! Ice cream for the first time!!
5/9 - First trip to Outback!!
