Happy 1st Birthday Caroline!!!

Say it isn't so....My baby can't be 1 year old can she???  Such mixed emotions!!!  I don't want my baby girl to grow up but I love watching her explore the world around her, learning new things, saying new words, playing with new friends!!!  What a fun age!!  We are having a blast these days!!!

The biggest change this past month is definitely Caroline walking.  She is a really good walker now...and gets
into anything and everything more now than before!!! She is into crawling on stuff too.  She thinks she is hot stuff now that she can get on and off the fireplace.  If it is important, you better put it up high, quick!!
Caroline still loves to dance and sing.  Now, she is even into musical instruments!!  She loves the keyboard we have, as well as the xylophone!!
This sweet little girl does not like the word no!!  Anytime you tell her no, she starts crying and throws herself on the floor!!  It is very funny to watch!!!
Caroline got to enjoy some new desserts!!!  She had her first ice cream cone and cupcake!!!
We are pretty much done with breastfeeding.  Caroline pretty much weened herself off!!  She started eating more table foods and didn't need the daytime feedings as much.  Then, she dropped the nighttime feeding.  And, the day she turned 1, we stopped the morning feedings too!!!  She has been on whole milk about a week to get her used to the change.  She seems to be doing fine!!  She was actually drinking a lot of breastmilk out of the straw sippy cup anyway, to prepare her for this!!
Pooping is fun these days too!!!  When she needs to poop, she goes to a place by herself and is super quiet.  She needs to be alone to do her business!!
She has been saying mama, dada, and night night.  This month, she added bye-bye to her vocabulary!!!
She still loves baths, balls, and putting everything and anything in her mouth!!  She is still a good eater for the most part except that she likes to throw her food on the floor a lot.  We have been trying to work on that!!!
She still loves her sister the most!!!  Watching the two of them play is the best thing ever!!!

We are so excited that you are a happy, loving little girl!!!  You make each day better!!!  Happy 1st Birthday sweetheart!!!  Thank you for making our lives better!!  WE LOVE YOU!!!
