Really, 17 months already!!!! Man, I thought time went fast with Olivia, but it is going even faster with Caroline. She changes so much each and every day!! I love watching all that she is learning, mostly good, from her big sister!!! She is so super smart too, it is crazy!!
She has gone down to 1 nap a day most of the time. It is hard for her to make it that long, especially on days when Olivia has school and she doesn't get a nap until after 1, but she is making it!! She has been hitting a little and pulling hair so we have had to start putting her in time out. She doesn't really get it but hopefully it will set in soon. She takes out a handful of Olivia's hair daily it seems. We have been trying to work more with arts/coloring. She still isn't into coloring, just taking the lids on and off the markers!! She is getting more into reading books now. She actually gets them for me to read to her at night!!
This little girl is so freaking funny and sassy!!! She loves playing "Where's Caroline?" with anything. The other day she played it with a lunch bag on her head. She has also played it with a basket on her head!! She loves to pour out all the food in the play kitchen and walk around with the bucket on her head just smiling!!!! Or, she puts a blanket on her head and just walks around with it!!! She loves to tell you boo and have you play boo with her!! She also loves to put an oven mitt on her hand and come after you roaring!!! It is so funny. If you have food and she wants it, she starts walking toward you with her mouth open and her tongue out!!! She is really hilarious!! She loves to be chased too!! When she pretends to spank herself, I can't stop laughing!!!
Girl eats all the time!!! She is always in the pantry trying to pick something out to eat. When she is done, you better watch out bc she is going to throw that plate and food at you. She hasn't learned patience yet!!
She has become aware when she is wet or poopy. She tells me when she has pooped and sometimes when she is wet. She doesn't like it at all. You can always tell when she is pooping bc she likes to be by herself, in her own room or just playing by herself. Funny how that happens!! Hopefully she will potty train easy.
She is talking up a storm and knows lots of words - love you, excuse me, yeah, shoe, sock, book, sissy, moo, apple, beep, please, thank you, dink (drink), sorry, I did it
1/12 - celebrated Olivia's 4th birthday
1/13 - saying sissy better
1/13 - went to 1 nap
1/14 - put on 1st princess dress today, saying "moo"
1/15 - went to hallway, grabbed diaper, and said poop
1/15 - telling mac "no, no"
1/15 - going down the stairs backwards
1/16 - said apple
1/18 - pretends to spank herself; loves to put stuff in the trash
1/19 - beep
1/21 - 1st time getting to walk around and play at magic house; says love you; says please and thank you at correct times; painted for the 1st time
1/24 - trying to say sorry
1/25 - said "dink" for drink; went down slide backwards
1/26 - rode tricycle for first time
1.27 - saying sorry now; climbed up into dining room chairs by self
1/30 - roaring like a lion
2/1 - covers mouth when she coughs and blows into tissues
2/2 - took the play gun and started making pshhh noises with it...but pointing it to herself :)
2/5 - 1st Barnes and Noble storytime; saying "dink" for drink
2/9 - Trying to say the blessing with Olivia...says the "thank you" part!!!; also saying "I did it!"; can climb on the potty
This was a big month for you!!! You are becoming such a big girl!!! Mommy and daddy love you and your cutie pie self so much!!! You light up our days and nights!! Love you baby girl!!
