So...Olivia and I have found more work. We are watching children for a Bible Study group in Cary on Thursday mornings now. A parent of a child I used to teach is also babysitting for the church and asked if we wanted to join in...and of course we said yes!! Livy was great at it last week. I thought she would be overwhelmed but she wasn't...she just observed for a while and then got right into playing!! She did have a problem taking a nap and got fussy bc she slept for only 20 mins. We will try harder for a better nap this week.
We are also keeping another little girl named Lilly. I taught her brother my first year at Carpenter Elementary. His mother was my room mom and she was great!!! So now, I am keeping her little girl. Lilly actually turned 1 today!! Her and Olivia play so well together. They observe each other and are getting better at playing together!! Olivia hasn't really been around a lot of other babies so I think this is really fun for her!! We will be watching Lilly Mon, Wed, and Friday mornings.
So...my time of staying home has changed some. I got to stay home when Olivia was really small and it was harder to get out and about. Then I got out occasionally to babysit every once in a while. Then it was just in the afternoons...and now it is mornings and afternoons!!! At least we are making money and I get to keep my baby girl and watch her grow and change each day!! I can't imagine any other job!!!
