Things Olivia has learned to do this past month:
* She was already pointing to her nose and belly, tongue and head!! Now she can find her foot and hair. We are also working on butt!! She will point to her eyes sometimes but it is not solid yet.
* She is doing much better getting food on the spoon and in her mouth!! She is also working with her fork more.
* She is saying a ton of new words: duck, ball, please (sometimes), thank you, grapes, cheese (sometimes), shoes, sock, ba for banana...and this month we have added cheese, crocs, Mack...I know there are more but I am pulling a blank. I will add more if I think of them!!
* She is definitely becoming more independent. She wants her way when she wants it and that is all that is acceptable!!!
* She started playing with bubbles this month...April 13th. She hasn't learned to blow them yet but she loves trying to put the wand in her mouth!!
* She loves to swing...even with her babydolls!!
* Livy took her 2nd trip to St. Louis this month. We went to look for a house. She did a great job on the trip and getting in and out of the car while looking for houses. She also got to spend some time with her great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins!!
* She went down a big slide by herself for the first time - April 26th. She loved it!!
* She absolutely loves the sandbox. She hasn't mastered getting much sand in her bucket but loves to try!! She especially loves using the shovel like a spoon and trying to eat the sand!!
* Livy is much better at taking verbal directions now. You can ask her to get her shoes and she will find them. You can also ask her to get her water cup or to find her baby and she can do it. She is super smart but only does it if she wants to!!!
Again, I am sure there is more that has gone on but I can't remember!!! Either way, we are learning new ways to discipline and control the fits!! Wish us luck!!
