Livy is 21 months old now!!!! Only 3 months more and she will be 2!!!! Wow...the time really has flown by!!!
Things Olivia has learned to do this past month:
* Livy started saying "I love you" on 9/9/11!!!! That was the best thing she did all month!!
* She was already pointing to her nose,belly, tongue, head, foot, hair, toes, eyes, butt, mouth, teeth, ears, knees, cheeks, and back!! She can point to them all and say them too!! Still working on elbow...she gets it sometimes but not others!!
* Livy is able to use her spoon and fork and say spoon and fork too!! She is really doing well with this now; however, if it is something she really wants to eat...she uses her hands!!
* She is saying a ton of new words: duck, ball, baby, bye bye, please (peez), thank you, grapes, cheese, shoes, sock, night night, ba for banana, crocs, Mack, snack, belly, no, tree, chair, cup, cheers, car, mo (more), bath, bow, hi, keys, bowl, spoon, door, potty, bath, done, hot, cold, dry, pants, shirt, drink, cup, milk, color, Doodle, trash, bubbles, squirrel, mommy, bra, gone, sink, truck, hug, side (outside), slide, swing, sit, kick, shake, toys, crate, frog, pig, towel, pull, draw, horse, bite, Grace (our neighbor), kitty kitty, i for ice cream, color, cracker, home, fly, bed, diaper, apple, turtle, fish, bird, owl, pink, meer (come here). This month she started saying: Livy, mote (remote), road, treat, wipe, computer, bubbles, shovel, ribbit, cheers, bike, water, juice, waffle, shark, move, wall, zoo, push, pull, blow, table, mouse, home, gummy, paper, flower, toothbrush, tractor, trouble, purple, big, pink, Mickey, Goopy (Goofy)and work. She is starting to put two words together such as big truck!!
* The tantrums have gotten even less!! Most of the time it is when she is tired or hungry.
* Livy has learned a ton of animal sounds...snake, cow, dog, cat, sheep, duck, horse, and monkey. She can now make the sounds for frog, chicken, and owl. She can say lots of animal names now...hippy (hippo), dog, pubby (puppy), cow, pig, cat, kitty kitty, sheep, duck, horse, giraffe, lion, bird, bee...and that is all I can remember!!!
* Livy could open doors before...now she can unlock deadbolts!! Fun times!!
* Our bedtime routine is still working great!!!
* Livy's favorite show is Mickey Mouse!!!
* She can repeat words from books now...Like in The Very Hungry Caterpillar, I read "On Monday he ate through 1" and Livy says "apple"!! She can do this for lots of words in this book particularly but also in Tumble Bumble too!!
* She really doesn't care for breakfast.
* She can climb up into her highchair all by herself now..this is good and bad!!
* Livy helped me make cookies for the first time this month!!
* Livy loves to eat whole apples now...she doesn't like me to cut them up.
* 9/11 - Livy peed in the potty for the first time...by accident!!
* 9/13 - This was a big day for Livy...She had her first dance class, first sucker, and first Turkey Bacon Club!!
* 9/14 - Started Day 1 of Potty Training
* 9/15 - Stopped Potty Training...She wasn't ready!!
* 9/22 - Livy got her 2nd hair cut given by our neighbor Chris.
* 10/8 - Livy climbed out of her pack-n-play for the first time while we were in Kentucky for Grayson and Alecia's wedding!! She also got to be a flower girl for the first time in their wedding!!!
This was a big month for her!!! She is changing so much each and everyday!! She is soooo smart!! We love you baby girl!!
