Things Olivia has learned to do this past month:
* She was already pointing to her nose,belly, tongue, head, foot, hair, toes, eyes, and butt!! Now she can find her mouth, teeth, ears, and knees most of the time!!
* Livy is doing so so so much better with her spoon and fork!!!
* She is saying a ton of new words: duck, ball, baby, bye bye, please (sometimes), thank you, grapes, cheese (sometimes), shoes, sock, night night, ba for banana, crocs, Mack, snack, belly, no, tree, chair, cup, cheers, and car.This month we started saying peez (please) more. She also says mo (more), bath, bow, hi, keys, bowl, spoon, door, potty, bath, done, hot, cold, dry, pants or shirt (can't remember which one at the moment!!)...again, there are more I just can't remember.
* We are working on getting rid of the "uh uh uh uh" and whining...we are reminding her to say Please instead!!!
* She still enjoys dancing...especially in the car when her daddy is dancing silly!!
* She could get on the bed and couch last month. Now she can climb into daddy's recliner and the kitchen chairs. She can also get in the van on her own too!!
* She is still a big helper with cleaning. She loves to use the broom or duster. She also likes to go around with a paper towel and clean up. She still loves throwing things in the trash!!
* We got our first kiddie pool this month. She has been in it a few times. She really prefers the bigger pool to this one but at least it keeps her cool on these hot, hot days!!
* She will give kisses to her baby dolls...but not us yet.
* The tantrums have lessened some this month. We are trying to be better about ignoring them or distracting her so that the tantrums stop. Luckily, this seems to be working.
* Livy has learned a ton of animal sounds...snake, cow, dog, cat, sheep, duck, horse.
* We have successfully transitioned to big girl bath time!!! She is doing a really good job of sitting in the tub. She still loves the tub so so so much!!
* June 13 - Livy came and told me she pooped for the 1st time!! June 14 - Livy came and told me before she pooped!! Tried potty for first time this month too. We got a cute princess potty from our friend Ellery!! We have tried to use the potty several times this month. We even tried actual potty training the day of her 18 month birthday but decided it was not the right time. We even bought big girl underwear...so we are ready when the time actually comes!!!
* Livy became a super hero!! Super Baby arrived this month!!!
* Livy transitioned well to the new house...thank God. She is doing well in Missouri and making new friends all the time!!!
I can't believe she is a year and a half. Man, the time has flown by. She is becoming such a big girl. We are very proud of her accomplishments!!
