Olivia's 3 Year Well Check

Olivia had her 3 year Well Check today.  She had her weight and height checked first.  She wasn't really happy to do this.  Then they wanted to check her eyes...screaming ensues.  Luckily, the did get her hearing checked!!!  Then we went into one of the rooms.  Dr. Mueller asked her about her colors.  She knows them all but couldn't tell her brown.  Then she said..."I don't want to tell."  So...very cooperative!!!  Luckily, Dr. Mueller is amazing and doesn't force her.  She did tell her that she would get lots of candy when she was done!!  HAHAHAHA...Olivia loved that!!!  She asked some other questions...does she know her shapes, any letters, any medical concerns, etc.  Then, she listened to Olivia's heartbeat.  She got so tickled that Olivia kept taking deep breaths and then blowing them out!!  Funny!!  Everything was good so far!!

Olivia now weights 32lbs (50th percentile) and is 37 3/4" tall (75 percentile).

We tried to get Olivia's eyes checked one more time before we left.  This time, she cooperated.  After getting the reading, Dr. Mueller said Olivia seems to be farsighted.  She wants us to have Olivia's eyes checked by a children's ophthalmologist to make sure there are not any sight issues.  So...our poor baby has to get her eyes checked.  We HOPE and PRAY she doesn't need glasses at such a young age.  She doesn't seem to me to ever squint or have problems when looking at stuff, but you never know.  So...say a prayer for us so that we hopefully don't have to get glasses for a long time...if ever!!!
