Tomorrow starts Week 17. The baby's skeleton will start turning from cartilage to more bone and the umbilical cord is getting stronger. The baby is about the size of a turnip now. The baby is also developing sweat glands this week. He/She is about 5 inches long now.
I am feeling much better lately. Still have some sickness 2 to 3 times a week...either morning or night. Not as bad as it used to be. I feel a little more energectic...probably bc I no longer have time to just sit around and sleep. I am actually having to work!!!
Other than that, we are fine. Jay takes his big Step 2 test this Saturday. He is very nervous, but we all know he will do fine!! He actually started back to school today for his 4th year!!! He is on a radiology rotation this month...which he is excited about. This should be a less stressful rotation.
Well...that is all for now. I have the day off bc I was dealing with the ringworm situations...but I shall go back to work tomorrow. Thursday is Meet the Teacher, where I get to talk to all the parents about what is going on in our class this year. Hopefully everyone will be happy and positive, including me!!!
Happy Monday to you all!!
