Week 19!!

I know you all love my updates and sit by your computer to wait for them. You must bc over 600 people have checked out our blog!! We are a popular family!! The funny thing is...I don't think Jay has looked at it once :) He is a mess!!

Well...during Week 19:
O or H is starting to develop special ares for the five senses in his/her brain. Some researchers believe the baby can hear this week...so Jay and I will have to watch what we say and be more positive...especially me :) The baby weights about 8.5 ounces and is about 6 inches long...about the size of a large tomato. The arms and legs are proportional to his/her body now. He/She is producing urine and continuing to grow hair on his/her head. The baby is producing a waxy film all over his/her body to keep him/her from looking like a shriveled up pickle in the amniotic fluid.

Babycenter.com says "Think you're big now? You'll start growing even faster in the weeks to come."...something to look forward too bc I feel huge right now. I cannot hide the belly at school anymore...it is just too big.

I asked Jay if he had anything to add...he said "I love my wife!!" So, even with my grouchiness and mood swings, he still loves me!!! That is good to know :)

Tomorrow is the big day!! We get to find out if we have an O or an H and I can finally write the name in the blog instead of him/her. I can't wait. I have 2 cousins (Jennifer and Carla) who are pregnant and due about a month before us. They both have 1 boy already (Garrison and Bryson) and are expecting boys. The last girl grandchild on my family's side was when little Alison was born 11 years ago...only boys since then. Jay's side of the family has not had a girl since Abby Jane was born 5 years ago. We have lots of boys!! So...will we continue the boy trend or change things up a bit...not really sure but will find out tomorrow!!!

Well...I have to go do some school work bc I only took half a day off tomorrow. I figured I deserved a little R and R before going to the doctor!!! Night Night to you all :)
