Week 27 Dr Appointment

Well...today was another doctor's appointment. I had to take the gestational diabetes test and drink the fun sugary drink. It wasn't too bad. I met with the doctor while I waited for the sugar to work its magic!! Dr. Maddison said everything seemed fine. I am 27 weeks but measuring 28 centimeters, which she said was fine. I gaine 6 pounds in one month...which was a lot to me!! She said it was ok but told me to start walking more and eating less carbs if I was worried about it. I asked about the pain that I was getting in my chest, and she said that my diaphragm was probably pushing on a nerve. Nothing we can do about that...so we will just wait it out. I also got to hear Olivia's heartbeat...strong as usual!! Then I sat in the waiting room the remainder of the hour working on school stuff. After an hour they took my blood and tested it. Everything came back fine!!! YEAH!! No gestational diabetes. After all this...I had to go back to work...YUCK!!

This afternoon, Jay and I went on a long walk :) Hopefully I will not gain as much weight next month!!!
