1 Month Old!!! (2/9/10)

Happy Birthday Olivia!!!  I can't believe it has been a month since she was born.  It definitely has flown by.  I love being a mommy and spending all day with her.  She really is an easy baby.  She has her moments, but most of the time she is very calm and fun.  She is holding her head up more now.  She is also standing on her feet with a little bit of help.  When doing tummy time, she is scooting off the mat.  She is a mover and a shaker.  If you aren't careful, she will headbutt you!!  She is smiling more now...and not only when she has gas!! 

We have been busy lately.  Today we went out shopping, looking for gifts for great-grandparents.  We bought some very cute picture frames to mail for Valentine's Day gifts!!  Tonight we had dinner with our friends Matt and LeeMarie.  They are getting married in March.  Matt goes to med school with Jay.  This was Olivia's first visit to Rockfish Grill.

Last night was a momentus occassion.  After fussing from about 9 until 10:30, Olivia finally went to sleep.  She is getting better at falling asleep but still has her days!!  After she fell asleep, she slept until 6:30am!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  WOW!!!  I went to bed about 11:30 and had 6 straight hours of sleep!!!  It was amazing.  The she just wanted to be fed and slept for another hour or so.  Hopefully this trend will continue!!!

Yesterday (2/8/10) we stayed around the house and cleaned up and rested. 

This past weekend (2/6 - 2/7), my sister came to visit us.  She got up here Saturday around lunch time.  It started to snow when she got here but just a little bit.  We went to have lunch at Longhorn.  Then we came back home and had rest time...although Darla just watch Olivia!!  Later that night we got some burgers and had dinner at home.  Sunday, we took Olivia to Kanki for the first time.  It was a yummy lunch.  Then Darla headed back home.  She will be busy this week with Valentine's Day coming up.  We are going to try (once again) to go to Kannapolis this weekend.  If we don't make it there soon, Olivia will be a teenager before we get home!!!

Well...off to bed now.  Hopefully Olivia will sleep as well as she did last night!!!
