Today was a fun day...It started with me waking up to Olivia crying for food. Then, when I went in to check on her, I found that she had spit up in the middle of the night. She had milk dried in her hair and on her face and her clothes were very wet. She never cried when she spit it up though. Crazy!! So...she was fed and bathed. Then I spent the rest of the time changing her crib sheet and getting her dirty clothes in the wash. She air dried in the living room for me while I got everything cleaned up. Then I worked on burning some CD's with pictures on them for Maureen and Jim. After that, I took a shower and got ready to meet Maureen and Kelley for lunch at Chili's...Olivia's first trip to Chili's!! We had a nice visit. Then we headed over to Target to get a few items. After that, Olivia and I went to my school to drop off some items for my sub. We had a long visit there bc everyone wanted to see Olivia!! I told my principal that I would not be coming back this year. She said, "Just tell me when you are sure." I said, "I'm telling you now, I am sure I won't be coming back this year!!" So...she is going to see if my sub will finish out the year. I told her I would let her know about next year in March when we find out about Jay's residency. I learned about FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act)...I am filling out paperwork for that so that they have to save my job for 1 year just in case I go back.
After visiting school, Olivia and I came home. She ate some food and then Jay got home. He watched her so I could take a nap. Then I made some dinner and we put Olivia down for bed. She was asleep by 9 but got up several times throughout the night. She had problems because she wouldn't burp and was uncomfortable. So...it was a long night but we will take a nap today :)
Glad you get to stay home the rest of this school year. I didn't know if you were going back or not. That is awesome! You will love this time home. There is nothing better! :)
