Doctor's Appointment

We went to the doctor again today.  Olivia has had her diaper rash now going on 2 weeks so I wanted to get it checked out.  The doctor said it was just a few bad spots that didn't seem to be healing up.  She told me to mix diaper rash cream with zinc oxide (like Desitin) with Maalox and put that on her bottom each time we change her.  I tried making the ointment but it doesnt mix very well together so we will see how this works out. 

Olivia was awesome!!  She slept through most of the appointment.  Then we went to Kroger afterwards.  I put Olivia in the Baby Bjorn carrier so it was easier to manuever through the store.  We spent about an hour going down all the aisles getting all our groceries.  She slept great through the entire store!!  Then she slept all the way home and even gave me enough time to get the groceries inside and put away before she needed some lunch!!  Yeah for her!!

Later on today, she was trying her tummy time on her leaf mat on the floor.  Instead of trying to raise up her head,she scoots herself off the tummy time mat.  I put her back on the mat and she did it again!!  So...she might be crawling sooner than expected!!!

So...today was a very productive day!!

PS - Last night was good too!!  We put Olivia to bed about 8.  We only had to go into her room to calm her down 2 times...after waiting through about 5 minutes of crying.  We feed her again at 10:30 and then put her back to bed.  She didn't wake up again until 3:30 and again at 7:30.  Then, I had to wake her to get her ready for the doctor this morning...but she went right back to sleep in the car.  She is doing much better with her sleep!!
