When we got to UNC, we had to go into this small auditorium (which was way too small for everyone). Everyone chatted for a while until the big event started. What they do is flash up a name on a screen (they don't call names bc it is too loud to hear). If it is your name, you walk down and get an envelope that holds your future in it. Most people brought it back to their seat to open it with their loved ones. They flash through all the names...about 140 in 30 minutes!! It goes really fast!!
Jay got his envelope...and even though we were pretty sure what it said, it was still never racking!! We were relieved to find out we would be at UNC for one more year while Jay works in surgery and then heading out to Mallinkrodt Institute of Radiology in St. Louis where Jay will continue his residency in radiology!! We are very excited!! We are trying to plan everything out...gettng the house ready to sell, going to look at real estate out there, budgeting!!! All fun stuff!!
Us before the match!!! Waiting in anticipation!!
