Exciting Week!!

I have got to start posting more often bc I start to forget stuff!!! 

Monday July 5th - Jay was off again today!!!!  So exciting to see him!!  We had a low key day at home.  Livy did ride her horse for the first time!! We took a family walk and all relaxed!!  We even had a few naps :)

Tuesday July 6th - Jay was on call...no fun.  These days we don't get to see him at all and he doesn't return until noon or later the next day.  Livy did start sweet potatoes for the first time today!!  That was fun.  I totally forgot to get a picture but will try to get one soon. 

Wednesday July 7th - I kept Sienna and Jack today.  We went to the sprinkler park in Durham.  Livy wasn't too interested.  She ended up falling asleep on the blanket in the shade!!  What a life!!  Unfortunately, I moved her a few times and forgot to move her bug bracelet too, so she got a few bug bites. Poor baby :(  We survived the long day...6:15 am - 6 pm.  We both were exhausted when we got home.  She slept very good!!!

Thursday July 8th - Livy and I had lots of errands to run today.  We went grocery shopping at Walmart around lunch time.  We tried to get out of the house sooner, but we were both just too tired.  Then we went to visit my friend Larissa and Lilly....too bad Lilly was with her grandma!!  We still got to see Tyler...I taught him in Kindergarten and he is now going into 3rd grade.  He is getting so big and handsome!!  Then, we went to visit another one of my mom's from school, Lori, and her cute girls, Emma and Lily!!!  They were giving us some new toys...and boy, they gave us a ton of new toys!!!!  Emma and Lily had a great time with Livy too!!  They would hold her, but she would pull their hair.  They were having  a good time though!!  I have been very blessed to teach such wonderful kids and have such great parents to still be in contact with!!!  Larissa has given us clothes and toys too!!  So sweet!!!

Today (Friday July 9th), was a little bit more rough.  Livy did not take a nap at all this morning.  She was so tired but everytime I would lay her down, she would scream to the top of her lungs...something was bothering her.  I wasn't sure if it was gas or teeth.  So...she didnt' get a nap.  We met my friend Lara and baby Will at the mall for lunch.  Livy did fine there, even without having a nap.  I was bouncing her on my leg at about 1:30 and her head just fell to the side...she had finally fallen asleep!!  Too cute!!  After lunch, we went and did some more grocery shopping at Kroger...gotta hit those sales!!!  Then we came home and played.  About 4:30 you could tell she was tired again but did the same thing when I laid her down...just screamed bloody murder.  So, she and I laid in the bed together and both of us went to sleep...until 6:45!!!  That totally messed up her night schedule.  But that was ok bc her daddy really wanted to see her and he didn't get home until 8:30...so it was good she stayed awake.  She went to sleep shortly after spending some daddy/daugher time!!!  Daddy went to sleep shortly after that too!!!

With Jay's schedule...it is such a good thing that I am not teaching this year.  I think we would both be going crazy and Livy would suffer. At least this way, she has some stability and both of us are not stressed to the max!!!
