Week 12!!

Yesterday was the beginning of week 12!! YEAH!!! I had Jay take an updated picture but I looked too fat and deleted it!! I will try again later...Just picture Barney the big purple dinosaur...that is what I look like but really really pasty white!!
Because we are starting Week 12, I wanted to let you know what is going on with little Olivia or Hunter this week (if Jay lets me use the name Olivia!!). This week, baby H or O gets reflexes...it will be able to open and close fingers and toes and start making a sucking motion with his/her mouth. H or O also starts making urine this week!! YEAH!! (But we don't have to pay for diapers yet :P). The face is looking very human like now...eyes have moved from the side to the front and the ears are in the right place. This week...the baby is about the size of a lime.

I got a call from the OB today telling me that the ultrasound we did last week was too early...they were checking for Downsyndrome. So...we get a FREE ultrasound. They are trying to get us in this week for another one. This is great also bc Jay can go if they do it tomorrow or Friday!! YEAH!! So...we are excited to see O or H again!!

Oh...other big news...I told my boss yesterday. She was excited. She said she knew I was going to tell her that...then she said congrats...then she said "How long are you going to take off?" Fun times!! We had my end of the year staff party yesterday and my great Kindergarten team announced the coming of Baby Barnwell to the entire staff...so all my school knows now. I guess the secret is out. The only people we are trying to keep the secret from now are the upcoming kindergarten students so that their parents don't want out of my class since I will be out a good while this year. We hopefully are past any problem times. Just lookingn forward to all the excitement that will continue to happen!!
