Week 15 Dr. Appointment

We had another doctor's appointment today. I got to hear the heartbeat...still going strong!!! I only gained half a pound!!!! That is amazing considering how much I have been eating lately...I was shocked!!! (The weight has definitely shifted though.) The doctors finally found our test results from our prenatal screening. The baby is negative for Cystic Fibrosis. We have a 1 in about 6,000 chance that he/she will have Down Syndrome and a 1 in about 10,000 chance that will have another genetic problem with neural tube defects. So things are looking good!! We have one more test to check on spina bifida, but that will not happen until our next visit. We didn't find out the sex of the baby today...they will do that at our next visit also...4 more weeks to wait. Hopefully the baby will cooperate at that doctor's appointment and show us what he/she has!! I can't wait to know what we are having!!! Well...we are all fine for now. We had quesadillas for dinner. I ate 3!!! The baby likes quesadillas...don't feel sick at all right now!! (knock on wood). Fixing to go to bed!! Night night to all!!
