Week 14

Well...I am back at work full-time now. All my kids start Monday. It should be a very interesting group this year. I am glad we are starting the 2nd trimester bc I don't think I had the energy this past month to deal with 22 4-5 year olds.
I am going to go ahead and update you on the baby and his/her progression for Week 14 bc I am not sure how busy I will be this week. I am starting to get a little more energy. It seems the morning sickness has turned into night sickness but is only causing a nauseous feeling right now...less nights of vomiting. Being at work has been fine...I feel ok except for after I eat. My belly hurts a little then but nothing too intense.
Well...during Week 14...little Olivia or Hunter can now squint, grimace, frown, grasp, pee, and possibly suck his/her thumb. O or H is now able to make facial expressions also. The baby is about 3.5 inches long now and is the size of a lemon. O or H is now becoming more proportional...the body, arms, and neck are growing more than the head. O or H is also getting hair all over his/her body.
Hopefully things will continue to get better as the pregnancy continues. I feel like I have been pregnant forever but still have 26 weeks to go!! We have another doctors appoint on the 21st I believe, but it isn't anything exciting. The one after that should tell us the sex of the baby. I can't wait for that appointment!!!
