My cutie pie after her school tour!!!
Livy and I went to visit her preschool for next year today!!! It is part of our church here so I feel it is extra safe. The preschool has been there for almost 45 years now. Most of the teachers have been there at least 10 years. There are 12 kids per 2 year old class with 2 teachers, which I thought was pretty good. The preschool is very open and friendly. The school is play based but the director said she should come out knowing her colors, shapes, numbers, alphabet, etc too!! She will have music and PE or playtime each day she is there. We watched a 2 year old class beat on drums today as they read Brown Bear, Brown Bear...super cute!!! We got to play around in one room while the kids were at music. Livy loved it...got upset when we had to leave. She stared at all the kids and just seemed to excited to be around other little people!!! I think she is going to LOVE it!!! I am going to LOVE it too...after the initial transition!!! It will be hard not having my sidekick with me all the time.
Her school will start the week of Aug. 20th. I am so excited for her to get independence and make some great friends!!! It seems to be a great price too...She will go Tues and Thurs from 9-11:30 and it will be $133 for the month. That is a little less than $17 a day which isn't too bad!!! Plus, it is less than 15 mins from home!!!
