So it finally happened today. After 2 years, Livy finally decided to climb out of her crib...and it didn't end well for her. I had just laid her down for her afternoon nap...which she was not happy about. I could hear her crying for a few minutes, and then it stopped. The next thing I hear is a loud THUD and loud crying again. I knew what happened before I even got in the room. When I opened her door, she was sitting on the floor crying. I am very glad she didn't get hurt. I held her for a second and she was fine. I really think she landed on her butt, luckily she keeps extra padding there!!! We talked about not climbing out of the crib bc she could get hurt. Then I laid her back down...and this time she went to sleep.
I think it scared her today though bc later she told me she didn't want to fall again. So...hopefully she can last a few more months in the crib before we transition her over to a twin bed!!!
