Today I went to Target and finished our registry there. We are registered!!! I have looked really hard at Babies R Us, Target, and Walmart to try and find the best prices. I am definitely a bargain shopper and want anyone else who is puchasing something for us to get a bargain too!! We are getting very excited about our showers!! We have 5 planned and the first one is coming up quick (Oct. 10th). I am also ready to get the room painted and set up. I bought paint this past Monday while it was on sale for Labor Day. I am still waiting on Jay to go through his clothes so that we can downsize. He and I have to share a closet now...scary!! One day he will do it!! So...I have got the paint, waiting on the border to be delivered, and BOUGHT A CRIB!!!
Yes, I bought a crib today. That was not the plan. I was not looking to get a crib or any other furniture until the room was cleaned out and painted, but my plans changed. Yesterday I went to register with Kellie. The crib I really liked at Babies R Us was $310. There was another crib very similar, but not exactly the same, that was only $250. I didn't think it was work $60 to get the one I really wanted when the other one was just as nice. So I was just going to wait and get it later. Today, when I was looking online at the Target website, I found the crib that I really really wanted and it was ON SALE!!!! It was on sale for the same amount as the one that was $250. So...I figured it was a sign!!! I bought it online and got free shipping!!! I can't wait to get it and have Jay put it together!! Everything seems to be coming into place and we are getting prepared for the arrival of our little bundle of joy...we are getting prepared very early!!! I don't want anything to be left until the last minute. I just want to know it is all finished and ready for Olivia!! You never know, she might surprise us and come early. I would be a wreck if she came and we weren't ready!! I am definitely a planner!!
So...2 more things accomplished - finished the registries and bought a crib!! Fun day!!
This weekend I am going home for my 10 year high school reunion. Jay isn't going with me bc I figured he would be totally bored. My 2 best friends from high school and college are going with me. We are having a girls night!! It should be very interesting!!
Well...that is all for now. Next week will be crazy and you will probably not hear as much from me. I have lunch with Olivia's grandparents and honorary grandparents on Monday!! After that, I have another doctors appointment. Then Tuesday, I leave bright and early for a 9 hour drive to New York with my track 1 co-workers. I am so excited. I will return on Friday. Saturday is Jacob's birthday party!! Lots going on!! Good night for now!!
