We are slowing continuing this crazy journey...and I do mean slowly!! I think it is definitely going to speed up in the next few months bc my calendar is full...no time for rest. I am tracked out (except for a few workdays) and am trying to get Olivia's room cleaned out and painted. When it is finished, you know I will put it on the blog!! I bought the paint today and ordered the border last week. Now I just have to get Jay to go through some items so I can start throwing away excess stuff. It is hard to downsize 2 rooms into 1, but we will get it done!!! Plus, it is a lot easier to do when you are excited about what you are doing!! Babies R Us is having a big sale on this weekend so I did go look at cribs. I even had a 20% off coupon for a crib but the one I wanted wasn't listed on the coupon. Too bad. The ones listed were all like $600 and our little Olivia will be fine in a $250 crib!! So...we will try again later. We don't need it yet, just thought we could save some money.
Week 22 starts tomorrow. Olivia must be growing because I really look like a cow now. I have definitely grown a lot in the past 2 weeks. I am not excited to get on the scale next week at the doctor and see how much I have gained in a month...I was doing so good too!!
This week, Olivia is about 11 inches long and is almost 1 pound. She is the size of a spaghetti squash, whatever that is. Her lips, eyelids, and eyebrows are becoming more distinct and she is developing toothbuds below the gums!! Her eyes have formed but the iris still lack pigment (the colored part). The pancreas is developing now also. She is definitely growing!!
As I am writing this blog right now, she is kicking up a storm!! She must know that I am talking about her :) She is kicking very low right now but will kick high later. She is going to be a gymnist bc she likes to move all over the place. I can't wait to meet her!!
