Always busy!!!

Livy and I always seem to be busy these days!!!  Last week (June 23), we started our new babysitting career!!  We kept 2 new kids right down the road.  We had to be there at 6:15 AM...wow, that was early for us.  I haven't had to get up that early since Livy was like 2 months old.  Well...of course she didn't go back to sleep after she got up.  The 2 kids got up at 6:45 AM...it made for a very long day.  The kids definitely tested me to see how far they could push me...but by the end of the day, I think we had made a little bit of progress!!  We kept the kids until 5:00pm that night when their dad came home.  It was definitely a long day...but great money!!!

Oh, and our air conditioner died the night of June 22nd.  It was hot hot hot.  It was 98 degrees on June 23rd and I think even hotter on the 24th.  We called the AC guy on the 23rd and he was to come out the next day.  Luckily, my wonderful friends Bryan, Kellie, and Ellery let us stay at their house during the day since our house was scorching hot.  When the AC guy got here, Livy, Mac, and me all sat in the car in the AC...for like 2 hours!!!  It was way too hot in our house!!  We spent the rest of the day at Kellie's house so ours could cool down.  We came back home about 9:30, when it had finally cooled off some!!  Boy, it felt so so so good the next morning when I woke up and had the covers all over me!!  Our AC works so much better now than it ever worked before!!!

Monday (June 28), Livy and I spent some time with my friends and some other kiddos!!  Stacey and Katie volunteered to keep our other friend Angelique's babies while she went to clean out her classroom.  I went over to just hang out and play. Our other friend Tania and her 2 kids came over also.  It was a lot of fun!!  We had some yummy pizza for dinner too!!  Katie was the self proclaimed "Baby Whisperer"!!  Stacey was just awesome with all the kids, and adults too (Crazy Katie!!)!!!

Stacey was a great hostess!!!  She got the pool and sprinkler ready for the kiddos!!

Today (June 29), we went on our traditional lunch trip to Sonic.  Stacey and Katie also went with us!!  They are such great friends!!  I will miss working with them.  We had a lot of fun!!  Livy loves them both.  Livy tried to show them both how she can roll over.  She now rolls over even further...she gets all the way over but is laying on one arm and can't figure out how to get it out from under her.  She did the same thing again when we got home.  She is learning!!!

Livy also had bananas for the first time today.  Angelique gave me an easy way to make warm bananas that are like banana bread. Livy enjoyed it a lot!!  She had that a little after her morning bottle.  Then, this afternoon, she had some applesauce/oatmeal.  She is getting better and keeping more food in her mouth!!!
