We went back to the doctor this week (9/4/12) for our 38 week check-up. We saw Dr. Gould this week. She was also very nice. All the doctors in the practice have been great, thank goodness!!
We missed our original time at 1:30 bc I am crazy and just totally forgot!!! So, we had to go at 3:30, and Olivia got to miss her nap!! Fun times!!
Nothing too exciting this week...Caroline still has a heartbeat in the 140 range. This doctor said she should be about the same size as Olivia. I gained 3 lbs in a week...but she said it looked like it was mostly due to swelling and my gigantic feet and legs. I was 4 cm this week and 80% effaced.
She asked me about the VBAC and if that was still my plan. I told her no. She said she thought that was the right decision and that I was not a good candidate for VBAC in her opinion since I pushed so long with Olivia and she didn't come. So...c-section it is!!
Everything is still good and we are just waiting for Caroline to make her arrival!!!
