Happy 32nd Month Birthday!!!

Wow...my baby is growing up so fast. She is almost 3. She is such an independent little munchkin...which is good and bad at times!!!
Here is what Olivia has been doing over the last month...

* The biggest thing that happened this month is that Olivia started preschool in the 2 year old class (8/21/12)!!!
* One of her new favorite pastimes is to dance...and she prefers to dance after bath, naked!!!! She will spin around and around and around in the living room!!!
* She is still doing well in her big girl bed!!
* Outside is her favorite place to be...luckily, the weather has gotten a little cooler, so it is manageable outside now!!
* She loves to "take your order" like she is a drive thru from her little play house outside!! So funny!!
* She loves to eat "bessert" (dessert) after dinner!!!
* She LOVES to help mommy make cookies!! Luckily, they have the kind she can just put on the cookie sheet, and we can bake them!!
* When we are outside and she is on the swings, all she tells me is "I need a great big push"!!! She loves swinging high!!
* She has definitely started getting her temper tantrums back. We have had to be really firm lately. Her favorite thing to do is to tell me "no". I can't stand that. Everytime she does, she has to go to time out.
* She can really pout too. If she doesn't get what she wants, she will either fold her arms together and cry and pout or run to her room, shut the door, and get in her bed. Man, she seems like a teenager already. I am def not ready for this drama!!!
* She loves to mess with her daddy. Anytime he gets up from his recliner, she runs to get in it and says it is her chair!!! He has to come throw her out of it to get it back!!! Very funny!!
* When she is in a good mood, she is so cooperative. If I ask her to do something, she will say "ok momma" or "great idea momma"!!! So cute!!
* She learned how to use her zippy scooter to go pretty fast this month!!! And, she is steering it too!!
* She also started using the actual pedal on her Barbie Jeep this month!! Before, she would push and stop and push and stop and push and stop and driver her mommy crazy!!! Now, she just holds it down, so be prepared to help her steer!! We are still working on that!!
* Livy got to go to her 2nd Cardinals baseball game this month. She did much better than last year...and entertained most of the radiology members there!!!
* Livy got to wear her special necklace with Grammy Darlene's picture in it this month...on Labor Day to our dinner at Outback. She was so excited to wear it and show it off!!! So special!!
* She is more addicted to the show Doc McStuffins than ever!!! She sings the "check-up" song all around the house, even when she is trying to go to sleep or right when she wakes up. We get check-ups over and over and over...even Mac!!! She can now tell you she needs to check your heartbeat, for you to breathe in and breathe out, she is going to check your lungs and back, take your blood pressure, check your eyes and ears, and check your reflexes. She can name the stethoscope and reflex hammer now too!! Very impressive for a 2 year old if you ask me!!
* My girl is so creative and has a great imagination. She went into the bathroom the other day and said "Welcome to Livy's clubhouse!"!!! She also did this at our friend Ashley's house. As people were coming in, she would hold the door for them and say, "Welcome to Livy's clubhouse!"!!! So funny!!
* She told her daddy he was her hero this month!!! It definitely melted his heart!! She knows how to get what she wants from daddy!!!
* Livy decided this month that she would be a princess for Halloween and Caroline would be a frog!!! What a cute idea!!

Livy is full of spunk and sass!! She is one amazingly bright, funny, sweet, and independent little girl!!! Can't wait to see what she does next month, especially since she will be a big sister!!!
