Well...if you haven't heard yet, Jay and I had a fun adventure yesterday (Dec. 29, 2009). We were out running a few errands and ended up at True Value. We needed a new doorknob. So...Jay got out of the driver side and went to the back seat to get out the old doorknob. I got out of the passenger side and locked the door. Well...Jay got out of the backseat and tried to get back in the front and it was LOCKED!! Guess where the keys were...IN THE IGNITION!! So...we were like, uh oh!! We walked in True Value for a minute or 2 and tried to call Lee and one of Jay's other friends (my phone was locked in the car!!). People in True Value were looking at us weird bc we were just standing in the middle of the aisle...just standing...trying to figure out what to do next. So...we decided to try and walk back home. It really wasn't that far to our house...although at the time I thought it was at least 10 miles. We zipped up our jackets and heading down Woodcroft toward our house. We knew it was a long walk but were not complaining. We were having fun...thinking about lots of crazy things that we have done before!! We walked about 30 minutes and then Jay's phone rang. IT WAS LEE!!!! We told him what had happened, and he said he would come get us!!!! YEAH!!! He saved us!! We measured the ride back to the car. We had walked about 1.5 miles (which we were hoping would help bring Olivia out...but it did not work). So...Lee took us back to our car and we got in!! So we finished out shopping and went back home. We measured how long it was from True Value to our house...4.3 miles. I am very very glad we didn't have to walk all that way!! I told Lee if Olivia came today, we would have to name her OLEEVIA!! HaHa!!
So...there is another adventure we have had together...along with Olivia!!
