Visiting K-town!!!
Saturday and Sunday we went to K-town to spend time with my sister and family. We didn't get to see all the family members unfortunately, but did see many of them. Saturday we went to the Olive Garden to eat lunch with my sister. Someone also told me that they went into labor 2 days after eating salad there with both their kids, so we thought we would try it. Then we went to get mattresses for my sister's house. She had gotten some new furniture and made a room special for me and Jay...but we needed the mattress to make it complete. Then, Jay and I took a long nap. We were exhausted from the mountains and all the traveling. Darla was supposed to take a nap too bc she had been working a ton...she didn't rest, she ended up doing stuff around the house. Jay and I ended up sleeping like 3 hours. By then, it was time for dinner!! We went to Longhorn and had some excellent cheese fries and chicken fingers. Very yummy!! We even got a milkshake from Cookout on the way home!! Then we watched some TV for a while before heading to bed. Sunday, we went to church. We got to see my Uncle Steve and Aunt Shirley. We also got to see my cousins Sonya, Steve, Alison, and Mary Hannah. Then we headed to What-a-Burger to get lunch and went to eat with my Grandma!! I had a YUMMY CHERRY LEMON SUNDROP!!! It was so delicious!! My Uncle Danny and Aunt Stacey came over to visit as well. We had a good time chatting. Then we headed to my Cousin Garrett's house to see his wife Jennifer. We also got to see their son Garrison and their new baby Carson. They are so cute!! I got to practice with Carson a little!!! However, it made me very nervous that we are going to be in charge of something so small and helpless very very soon. It was a short but nice trip home!! Here are some pics from my Maw's house!!
