Week 35!!!

It is getting closer and closer to the end!!!  Only 5 weeks to go...hopefully 3 weeks insted but who knows!!!  We are getting things accomplished around here.  Olivia's room looks great.  I ordered the dresser/changing table this week.  We are also waiting on the monitors and the Baby Einstein activity jumper to be delivered.  We are also waiting on the mobile, lanmp, valance, and crib skirt to be delivered.  So...for the most part we are ready!!! 

Olivia is going crazy each day in my tummy.  I think she is telling me she is ready to get out.  I feel like she has dropped some...not pushing as much on my ribs!!!  I was sitting in the recliner with Jay on Saturday.  He had his arm right beside my belly.  She must have been excited because she was rolling and playing so much that she was hitting him in the arm!!  He said, "Is that her moving?"  I said yes...and imagine that going on in your tummy all day long!!  She is very very active...not a lot of down time with her anymore.  I think she will come early on her own...or at least I hope that is her plan!!

So...during week 35...this is what should be happening:
She is about 18 inches long and about 5.25 pounds now (about the size of a honeydew melon...which is huge!!)  She will still be very active, but probably more kicks than somersaults now.  Her kidneys are fully developed now  :)  and her liver can process some waste products now.  Most of her basic physical developments are complete...now she just works on fattening up!!

Tonight I have a class to help me learn how to breastfeed.  Jay gets out of this class because he has a residents dinner in Wake Forest.  On Saturday, we go to our Preparing for Birthing Class and Childcare Basics Class.  We get a tour of the hospital then also.  Hopefully it will be entertaining and beneficial for us!! 

I don't return to the doctor again until next Wednesday...then we will start going each week.  Hopefully Olivia decided to get into the right position so that we don't have to have a c-section...if at all possible. 

Well...that is all for now.  I have new pictures to upload but they will have to wait.  I  need a nap!!!
