Week 34!!

Well...Olivia is about the size of a cantaloupe this week...4 3/4 pounds and almost 18 inches long.  She is gettng much bigger!!  She is gaining more and more fat layers to help her keep warm when she is born.  Her skin is becoming much smoother also.  Her central nervous center and lungs both continue to mature.  Most babies born after 34 weeks end up being fine...so if for some reason she decides to come early...she should be ok; however, I would prefer her to wait until the 38th week!!

These days we are working hard to get ready for the arrival of our princess!!  That is harder becasue she is moving like crazy.  Sunday night she kept me up until 2am moving around.  Then, the big belly gets in the way and makes it hard to get comfortable even though I am exhausted.  My feet are looking bear like these days too!!  Other than that...things are still going great!

We are trying to finish up the last few purchases we need to make.  We have picked out a pediatrician too!!  I am going to pack our bags to the hospital in the next week or so too...just in case :)  At school, I am still working on my sub plans...even though I have been working on them for weeks.  I thought I had everything detailed enough...I guess not.  Got about 2 weeks completely finsihed and the other 4 weeks partially finished.  Will try to get that finished by next week also. 

Well...that is all for now.  I go to the doctor today at about 11:15ish for another checkup.  Hopefully the weight gain from Thanksgiving won't be too bad :)
