Jan. 11th - Day 3

This day wasn't too eventful.  We were tired from the night but still excited to spend more time with our baby girl!!

Jay went home on this day to get a shower, take care of Mac, and get ready for his interview at UVA. There were lots of people in and out of the room today.  The pediatrician on call came to see her and decided she had a little bit of jaundice.  So...they had to prick her cute little foot and take blood, but Olivia took it like a champ and only cried a bit.  They also gave her her first shot today.
To help with her jaundice, they brought a bill blanket, and Olivia had to stay in the basket most of the time.  She did not enjoy the raincoat type jacket she was made to stay in.  Grandma was there to help calm down Olivia when they first brought in the bill blanket since it was still hard for mommy to get out of the bed.

The bill blanket with lights.  She looks like a glow worm!!

So...today was a little more relaxing!!  We were hoping to get discharged today but the doctor said no since I had a fever before, and they wanted me off the antibiotics for 24 hours before I could leave.  So...we are expecting to leave tomorrow!!
