Well...Olivia had a rough night home at first. She was all swaddled and put in her bed last night. But then it began...she would be content for about 15 minutes and then cry some...content for 15 minutes and then cry some...this went on for about 2 hours. Each time we tried all the tricks: check diaper, give food, rock her, etc. Finally, I put her in the bed with me so that Darla and I could get some sleep that night. Well...she stayed in the bed with me for about an hour. Then I went to put her back in her room and realized it was much warmer than earlier. The heat had not been running in her room...that was the problem...she was cold!!! TA DA....problem solved. We had the propane heater on in the living room before bedtime and it made the thermostat reach the temperature it was set for...but the rooms it the back were still cold. When she was laying with me, she was warmer and slept fine. After her room got warm, I put her back in there and she had a great night. Slept for 2.5 - 3 hours each stretch!!! So...prooblem solved!!

After we all got up, we headed to the pediatrician to get her billirubin levels checked. We had to go to the office in Durham to do this. The nurse practitioner said everything looked fine. She was not as jaundiced as before. We are supposed to continue putting her in the sun to help break down the billirubin, but other than that, she was in great health!!

So, after the doctor's office, we got some lunch and headed home. We took some naps and chilled around the house. Olivia had to do some sunbathing also.
Mac watched over Olivia while she sunbathed in her rocker!! He is very cute with her!!
Later that night, daddy came home!! Olivia was very glad to spend some time on daddy's chest!!
One last feeding before bedtime...Look at that mouth!!! She is ready to gobble down some food!!
