Wed. Jan 20th - We just stayed around the house!!
Thurs. Jan 21st - Today we ran a few errands. We went to the drs office to drop off some papers for mommy. Then we went to Target to pick up a few things!! Olivia loves Target already!! Then Jay had his residents dinner for UNC tonight also.
Fri. Jan 22nd - Jay had his interview with UNC today. We had mommy and daughter day. We did laundry, dishes, swinging, etc.
Sat. Jan 23rd - Today was a momentus day...Olivia got her first case of diaper rash, Poor Baby. She is a trooper though and doesn't complain much!!
Sun. Jan 24th - Jim and Maureen were nice enough to bring Jay's truck back and swap it out for the Buick. (Jay borrowed the Buick to drive to Georgia for his Emory interview.) I think they drove all this way to see me...but getting to see Olivia was a perk too!! Later, we had a visit with Lee, Kelly, and Jacob. They were being healthy and walked over to our house during their exercise routine.
Mon. Jan 25th - My good friend Lara came to visit. She and Olivia had some bonding time!! Lara will get to do this soon with her baby boy...due at the end of March. Later, I drove for the first time. Daddy kept Olivia and I went over to Kroger to pick us up some groceries. That afternoon, during Olivia's airing out time, she got both mommy and daddy. She peed on daddy and pooped on daddy!! She thought it was really funny!!! We were not amused!!
Tues. Jan 26th - Jay had a class to go to today so Olivia and I were on our own. We actually were productive!! We took a walk on our own around the neighborhood - me, the dog, and Olivia!! Later, Olivia had some more airing out time. This time she pooped and peed on me!!

Wed. Jan 27th - Jay had a dentist appointment today. Then he met with his advisor to decide his rank list for residency. When he got home, we went to Target again and Lowes. We got Olivia a new heater to help keep her room nice and warm. Later, Jay got a call letting him know he was probably going to get a great residency!! Nothing is set yet, but it was great news!!!
Thurs. Jan. 28th - Today, Jay and I did a lot of cleaning. The house had gotten a bit messy. Then we went for a walk together later on. That night, Jay made a great asian dinner while I got to rest on the couch with Olivia!! It was a good day!!
Fri. Jan. 29th - Today has been a good day also. Olivia slept great last night. Got up only 3 times between midnight and 9:30 am. Love it!! Then daddy watched her and let me sleep until 11!!!! So awesome!! Then we went to Chapel Hill to get Jay his parking permit bc he starts back to school on Monday. On the way home, we stopped off at Bandido's Mexican Restaurant and had some lunch. After we got home, we relaxed a little. Then my friend Kellie came over to get her baby fix!! Tonight, if the weather permits, Olivia and I are going to a scrapbooking party with some of my teacher friends!! Right now we are off to give her a bath so she will be fresh and clean for the party!!

Isn't being a mom the greatest! It's exhausting and so hard at times, but I can't imagine my life without my two! There are days when you're not sure that you'll survive, but then they smile or laugh and you forget it all! Olivia is beautiful Joni and I know that your mom would be so proud of the mom that you are!
