Jan. 18 and 19 - Busy Days!!

Today was a busy day.  Jay left this morning to go to Emory for another interview.  Olivia and I slept in a little late today.  Maureen came over after lunch to hang out with Olivia and have some bonding time.  Olivia gave her lots of smiles...and gas!!  I worked on some school stuff for my sub and wrote some on the blog. 

Later that afternoon, some of my friends from work came to visit...Stacey, Katie, and Tania!!  They brought pizza too!!  We had a lot of fun just sitting around and talking.  Everyone was excited to hold Olivia and see how beautiful she is!!  She did a good job for them...slept a lot and made many cute faces!!  Tania and Stacey even got to change some fun diapers!!  Darla came during their visit!!  Crazy Katie made sure we were all entertained!!  It was a lot of fun!!  Darla was very nice and waited for her turn with Cupcake, even though I know she wanted to rip her away from everyone else!!  Soon, we went to bed...although, Olivia was not in the mood to sleep.  Everytime Darla comes to visit she decides to stay up for an extra hour or two and cry.  We tried the usual things...and eventually she got tired enough and went to bed.  Then she slept pretty good the rest of the night.

The next day, we all slept until about 11am...we needed the extra sleep!!!  Then we had some lunch and hung around the house.  We, mostly Darla, video taped Olivia doing a lot of new things.  She is holding her head up a lot longer now and is kicking more with her feet.  I will try to upload some of the videos we took sometime so you can see how fast she is growing...it is crazy!!  Darla took a ton of pictures and video.  I told her she needed to stop taking so many or she was going to make Olivia go blind!!  Darla really loves her Cupcake!!!!  Darla and I made some dinner and then she, sadly, went home so she could go to work the next day.

Later that night, Jay came home.  He was excited to see his baby girl again, and we were glad to have him back!!
